We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Support professional to contribute to our drug development and neurodegenerative disease research efforts.
The role involves providing experimental, technical and administrative support on a range of research activities including assay development, in vitro drug screening, cell culture and microscopy analysis.
A strong team player with a keen interest in making a lasting impact in therapeutic development for neurodegenerative diseases is encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree with honours or masters equivalent (or higher) in medical science, neuroscience, biochemistry, or related discipline.
- Knowledge of laboratory administration and experimental planning.
- Experience with laboratory techniques such as cell culture, high throughput assay screening, immunocytochemistry, protein extraction, and Western blotting.
- Experience with working in a research laboratory and a thorough understanding of laboratory health and safety practices and principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated capacity to meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills to assist in the preparation of research data.
