Job Title: Research Support Specialist

Research Overview:

This role involves supporting collaborative research projects across various groups, with a focus on child neurodevelopment and mental health. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to research initiatives, develop digital tools, and manage data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Research Tasks: Assist senior researchers in conducting research work for child development and mental health projects, including literature searches, data analysis, and report preparation.
  • Digital Tool Development: Contribute to the creation of digital tools and supports using programming languages and coding methods.
  • Administrative Support: Carry out administrative tasks, collect and manage research data, conduct literature searches, and contribute to the design and development of research protocols.
  • Grant Coordination and Reporting: Coordinate grant applications, conduct data analysis, prepare reports and presentations, draft articles for publication, and maintain records and documentation of research activity.
About You / Qualifications:
  • Tertiary Education: Hold tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or have equivalent experience. Quantitative and qualitative research skills, experience in health-related disciplines, and skills in data preparation, data analysis, and reporting are highly desirable.
  • Skills and Experience: Possess experience with digital tools for research, project management skills, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
