We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday.

About the Role
A dynamic and experienced IT Support Specialist will join our Operations team and work with a tight-knit IT team, reporting to the IT Manager. In this full-time permanent role, you'll provide technical support across the organisation, ensuring the integrity of our IT systems and delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and resolving IT needs across the institute
- Supporting Windows, Mac, Office 365, SharePoint, and Windows Servers
- Troubleshooting network and connectivity issues
- Maintaining hardware/software inventory and backups
- Supporting AV systems in meeting rooms
- Monitoring antivirus and file security systems
- Providing excellent customer service to users and stakeholders
- Escalating server issues to managed service providers as needed
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a complex IT environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS, MAC OS, Active Directory, Office 365, TCP/IP, and antivirus systems
- Experience with storage systems, remote desktop support and antivirus tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
