Research Support Specialist

We are seeking a Research Support Specialist to provide expert assistance to a systematic review examining the prevalence of mental health diagnoses and substance use among trans and gender diverse people.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of researchers, PhD students, postdocs, and academics, attending meetings, conducting data collection and analysis, maintaining databases and records, and recruiting study participants.
Main Responsibilities:
- Attend research meetings and training sessions
- Respond to routine enquiries relating to research
- Undertake unsupervised research support tasks consistent with established methodologies
- Perform data collection entry, and analysis
- Maintain research databases, records, and publication registers
- Conduct statistical data reporting
- Recruit study participants and conduct survey mail outs
- Transcribe interviews
- Organise fieldwork arrangements
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience supporting a research project
