Research Support Specialist Role:

Job Summary

This role involves providing research assistance to academic staff in a Department of Psychiatry.

  • Assist with data collection and management, including entering data from questionnaires into a database.

The ideal candidate will have strong computer literacy skills and be able to search literature and maintain databases efficiently.

  • Liaise with health professionals to gather information and collaborate on projects.

Contribution to clinical research in areas such as bipolar disorder, early psychosis, or severe mental illnesses is also expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support research activities and projects within the Department of Psychiatry.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification is necessary for this position.

Full registration with the relevant board also required.
