  • About the Role
  • As a Senior Data Engineer at Latitude Financial Services, you will be part of our Data Platforms & Engineering Team, enabling our data engineering practice, contributing to the data platform, and empowering teams to deliver diverse data products using the platform.
  • Our Data Platforms & Engineering Team at LFS comprises Software Engineers, Data Architects, Data Analysts, and Project Managers who thrive in solving problems using platforms and data products, fostering a data-driven culture.
  • We have a modern data lake and real-time scalable analytics, reporting, and AI/ML capabilities. Our Data Products enable organization-wide teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes like Personalization, Next Best Offer, Collections, Fraud Detection, and more.
  • Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their needs, design data ingestion processes, data applications, and data models to meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with the analytics and data science teams to build data solutions that enable them to extract more insights from our data and leverage those to inform crucial business decisions.
  • Own end-to-end problems, guide the team through design, and iteratively refine the solution.
  • Provide proactive advice on process improvements, product enhancements, and deployed code.
  • Contribute to the development of the baseline platform, products, and sustainable scaling by introducing code changes that enhance reliability.
  • About You
  • Hold a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Excel in programming skills using Python.
  • Have a working knowledge of relational databases and query authoring (SQL).
  • Demonstrate experience designing data models for optimal storage and retrieval to satisfy product and business demands.
  • Showcase expertise in building scalable data pipelines using Spark, Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
  • Exhibit experience working with AWS cloud services like ECS, S3, Cloudformation, IAM, etc.
  • Be well-versed in modern software development practices (Agile, TDD, CICD).
