Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our analytics practice, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions leveraging cloud-based data platforms and associated technologies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud-based analytics solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake. Strong knowledge of Dev-Ops processes, infrastructure as code, and Azure Cloud Infrastructure offerings is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data pipelines using API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods.
  2. Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  3. Provide technical leadership and thought leadership in areas such as data access, ingestion, processing, integration, modeling, and visualization.
  4. Engage with clients' leadership and technology teams to provide strategic guidance and industry insights.

Critical Skills and Experience:

  1. Expert-level understanding of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.
  2. Strong experience in designing and implementing NO-SQL solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
  3. Thorough understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure offerings.
  4. Knowledge of Dev-Ops processes, infrastructure as code, and common data warehouse modeling principles.
