">Job Title: Senior Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Asset Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the safety and performance of our iconic portfolio of dams and headworks assets.

As a Senior Asset Manager, you will lead smart, efficient asset management through innovative condition monitoring, strategic maintenance planning, and exciting project development either from a civil or mechanical engineering perspective.

  • Undertake intermediate and comprehensive dam safety inspections and continuously monitor and respond to anomalies in dam surveillance data and field reports.
  • Provide dam safety subject matter expertise across the business including on major capital projects and dam safety reviews.
  • Carry out assigned Asset Management tasks in line with Asset Management processes and procedures including but not limited to maintenance strategy determination, condition monitoring of assets, responding to technical queries, root cause analysis, register assets in Maximo.
  • Initiate and develop business cases for capital projects in line with Melbourne Water's capital management system.
  • Build and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relationships including providing technical advice to Service Delivery. (Operations and Maintenance) in a collaborative way.
