Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with category teams to develop comprehensive promotional plans that align with strategic objectives, supplier agreements, and market trends.
  • Lead analysis of insights to identify growth opportunities within fresh produce and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Establish processes for ongoing reviews of promotional effectiveness, ensuring alignment with customer preferences and seasonal dynamics.
  • Align the promotional calendar with customer expectations to deliver a cohesive trade plan, effectively challenging and influencing stakeholders to strengthen the value proposition for fresh produce.

Requirements

  • A high-achieving commercial professional with a proven track record in comparable roles.
  • Extensive retail experience with commercial and leadership responsibilities delivering against key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Demonstrated category management experience optimizing product offerings, pricing, and promotions to drive growth and align with business goals.
