About The Role
As an Operational Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will support the Senior Manager of Operational Risk in delivering key risk advisory activities, reporting, and assurance support across various business units.
You will be responsible for influencing without authority and advising on best practice and new legislation, such as CPS 230 standards.
Your work will play a crucial role in helping the business understand and manage risk effectively, including Operational Risk, Resilience, and Third-Party Risk.
- Develop content for operational risk reporting to inform business decisions.
- Support monitoring and reporting of key risk indicators and metrics to ensure effective risk management.
- Develop and train functions on risk management frameworks to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Advise on emerging risks and external changes to mitigate potential threats.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for effective risk reviews to drive business success.
- Promote a positive risk culture and support stakeholders on risk performance to achieve desired outcomes.
- Become a leading advisor in operational risk and enterprise risk management to drive business growth.
About the Candidate
You will have a clear passion for Risk and Compliance and be able to communicate effectively with clarity what is required and why it is important for the business to adopt new risk frameworks.
- Experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Strong engagement skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders to drive business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to build strong relationships.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders to drive business success.
- Familiarity with risk management systems to ensure effective risk mitigation.
The Rewards
In return for your hard work and dedication, Troocoo offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
