Splunk Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Admin to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. As a Splunk Admin, you will be responsible for providing operational support of the AGL Enterprise Splunk platform, including core business hours with an on-call support component. You will support key tenancies across Splunk Cloud, IT Service Intelligence, and Enterprise Security.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strong relationships with platform tenants to maintain their critical use cases and enable new capability.
- Deliver initiatives enhancing the value of the platform aligned to AGL IT strategy and architecture.
- Build and leverage strong, values-based relationships with Splunk as a strategic partner.
- Experience developing, deploying, configuring, and administering Enterprise-grade Splunk platforms.
- Build and maintain a deep technical understanding of the product, create cross-functional relationships, and explain complex topics to internal audiences and customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Relevant experience administering Splunk on a large enterprise platform.
- Splunk Admin certification, ITSI, and Enterprise Security certifications are a major plus.
- Thorough understanding of distributed Splunk deployment, management, and chargeback best practices.
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, managing high availability for Splunk environments where they are deemed mission critical.
- Actively participate in the Splunk Community, identifying opportunities for application to AGL and advocating opportunities to AGL user groups.
- Excellent follow-up and communication skills, with the ability to keep things conversational and organized while getting things done.
