You will act as the primary liaison for field operations, providing expert insights and strategic recommendations to enhance the security posture and resilience of client organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Fostering and nurturing essential relationships with clients and partners.Collaborating closely with account teams to comprehend sales strategies and plan support initiatives, including briefings, demonstrations, proposals, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations, and troubleshooting for our security suite.Engaging with Splunk clients to assess their security architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity goals, ensuring alignment between their security priorities and Splunk's product capabilities.Exhibiting Splunk's security solutions and services to clients both on-site and remotely through webinars and at industry events such as conferences and trade shows.Responding effectively to the functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.Providing hands-on leadership to resolve technical and integration challenges.Demonstrating self-motivation with a proven track record in technical software sales and a solid understanding of security technologies.Note: While we can assist with technology insights, soft skills development, and process education, a strong sense of self-motivation, an inquisitive mindset regarding technological possibilities, and a desire to collaborate with a dynamic team are essential.Qualifications:Possession of Splunk Certified Administrator credentials or equivalent expertise in administering Splunk Enterprise and related solutions.A minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a pre-sales engineer (SE), systems integrator, or in a similar role within the cybersecurity domain.Knowledge of contemporary cyber threats, malware, incident response (IR) methodologies, security information and event management (SIEM), and automation tools.Experience with endpoint technologies, threat intelligence capabilities, and the installation/configuration/administration of enterprise hardware and software technologies, including:Operating systems (Windows and Unix/Linux)Networking technologies such as Firewalls, Proxy, Routing & SwitchingProven experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly Python.Desirable industry certifications include SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, among others.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various audience types, including technical, non-technical, executive, and leadership levels.
