We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Administrator to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing operational support of our Enterprise Splunk platform, ensuring the smooth operation of our core business hours with an on-call support component.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strong relationships with platform tenants to maintain their critical use cases and enable new capability.
- Deliver initiatives enhancing the value of the platform aligned to our IT strategy and architecture.
- Build and leverage strong, values-based relationships with Splunk as a strategic partner.
- Experience developing, deploying, configuring, and administering Enterprise-grade Splunk platforms.
- Build and maintain a deep technical understanding of the product, create cross-functional relationships, and explain complex topics to internal audiences and customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Relevant experience administering Splunk on a large enterprise platform.
- Splunk Admin certification, ITSI, and Enterprise Security certifications are a major plus.
- Thorough understanding of distributed Splunk deployment, management, and chargeback best practices.
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, managing high availability for Splunk environments where they are deemed mission critical.
- Actively participate in the Splunk Community, identifying opportunities for application to our organization and advocating opportunities to our user groups.
- Excellent follow-up and communication skills, with the ability to keep things conversational and organized while getting things done.
