Role Description: This role supports the management of tree-related risks in urban environments.

The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to reduce tree-related hazards and ensure public safety.

This position involves managing risk through proactive inspection regimes, audits, and maintenance schedules.

  • Developing risk mitigation strategies for tree-related hazards
  • Conducting regular inspections and safety audits of contractors and internal crews
  • Working with the Corporate Risk team to investigate and provide advice on insurance claims related to tree damage

Reporting on tree audit findings, inspection programs, work schedules, and risk performance is a critical aspect of this role.

Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in operational workflow activities, including prioritizing, scheduling, and allocating tree inspections.

Our ideal candidate possesses relevant qualifications, practical experience in contract management, and expertise in working with arboricultural machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tree risk assessment and development of mitigation strategies
  • Development and implementation of proactive inspection programs and maintenance schedules
  • Conducting regular tree audits and safety audits of contractors and internal crews
  • Collaboration with the Corporate Risk team to investigate and provide expert advice on tree-related insurance claims

Although specific certifications are not required, our ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Arboriculture or an equivalent qualification.
