Urban Design Specialist Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Urban Design Specialist to contribute to various projects in Brisbane, Queensland.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Urban Designer to work on urban regeneration projects and participate in creative design processes from concept stage to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative landscape and public realm designs for multiple projects, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Prioritize project deadlines, manage project involvement, and ensure timely completion under senior team guidance.
  • Apply design principles and methods in urban environments, analyzing complex issues to inform design decisions.
  • Communicate key design ideas through effective visual presentation across various platforms.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related field at graduate or postgraduate level.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years' experience in private practice, local council, or government settings.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, and other 3D modeling tools is highly beneficial.
