Urban Development Specialist Role
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Urban Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and design efficiency.
2. Apply relevant Australian standards, local government requirements, and Austroads guidelines in design solutions.
3. Develop and deliver civil design documentation for urban/land development and transport infrastructure projects.
4. Undertake design and documentation using 12D and AutoCAD software.
5. Deliver accurate, efficient design solutions that meet project and client expectations, while fostering relationships with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications.
2. Minimum 8 years' experience in civil design, ideally within a consultancy environment in Australia, preferably in Urban Development projects.
3. Proficiency in 12D (including Network Editor), AutoCAD, and civil design drawing production.
4. Effective communication skills and a professional approach.
5. A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
