About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a key member of our Events Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Marriott's high standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with menu recommendations, dietary requirements, and special requests.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA) or equivalent.
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Barista skills and beverage knowledge are advantageous.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
