About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Service Associate to join our team at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a Food and Beverage Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel and its services, providing expert recommendations to guests.
  • Meet and connect with guests, building relationships and creating memorable experiences.
  • Assist guests with menu and dietary requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use of POS system to manage orders and service delivery.
  • Ensure all service areas are immaculate, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Promote safety and support WHS practices, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Barista skills advantageous, bartending knowledge highly desirable.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
