Community Engagement Officer Opportunity

Beechboro Christian School is seeking a passionate and relational Community Engagement Officer to join our team in a full-time, ongoing capacity.

This role combines administration, hospitality, and community engagement—offering a unique opportunity to connect with prospective families and promote our school's culture and values.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the enrolment process from first contact to the student's first day.
  • Promoting a welcoming environment aligned with our values.
  • Receiving and hosting guests in a way that reflects Christ's love and hospitality.
  • Providing administrative support to the front office and backup reception duties.
  • Managing student withdrawals with care and professionalism.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active involvement in a Christian church.
  • Agreement with SCEA's Statement of Faith and alignment with our Christian ethos.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or prior experience in an administrative or customer-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
