We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to support our team.
This role will involve creating engaging content for multiple social platforms and fostering community engagement through creative visuals and compelling storytelling.
- Develop and implement a content strategy across various social media channels.
- Collaborate with the communications team to align social media efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Design eye-catching posters and social media posts using Canva.
- Plan, design, and send email campaigns, newsletters, and updates to our audience.
- Review and proofread content for accuracy and clarity.
- Assist with organizing, promoting, and supporting community events.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, event coordination experience, and proficiency in social media management tools and design software.
Requirements- Post-secondary degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content management tools, and design software.
