About the RoleThe Vintage Booking Clerk will play a crucial role in the success of Accolade Wines' McLaren Vale Winery. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for scheduling deliveries of grapes to the winery, liaising with contracted growers, and entering bookings into the Vintrace database. If you have a willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and organizational abilities, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to gain experience in the wine industry.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling deliveries of grapes to the McLaren Vale, Barossa, and Berri Estates wineries.
- Liaising with contracted growers in regard to scheduling and booking of fruit into the winery.
- Entering bookings into the Vintrace database.
- Liaising with Grape Sourcing Manager and Winemakers on fruit intake and bookings.
- Administrative tasks as required.
- Answering other enquiries via phone or growers who visit the Viticultural office.
- Full working rights – visa holders included.
- A willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Time management skills.
- Proficient in use of Vintrace (desirable) and Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of viticultural vineyard operations and practices (desirable).
- Knowledge of regional areas and grape varieties (desirable).
