Site Manager Role

Join us for a pivotal Site Manager position overseeing diverse residential projects.

  • Manage 5-6 active projects, coordinating 2-10 trades and subcontractors per site.
  • Deliver projects on time, on spec, and within budget with the support of a Project Manager, Claims Resolution Manager, and a hands-on Director.

As a seasoned professional in carpentry or strong technical building skills, you will take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role requires self-motivation, scope-driven mindset, and ownership of delivery. You must be personable and empathetic in managing client relationships, assertive in managing trades to meet deadlines and standards, and hands-on, solutions-focused, and proactive.

About The Company

We are a well-respected, quality-driven builder certified for Large Loss Work. Our team delivers residential projects ranging from $50K to $1.5 million across Sydney, including bathroom refurbishments and major structural restorations often on behalf of insurers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Deliver multiple residential projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion, adherence to specifications, and budget control.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of trades and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
  3. Client Relationships: Foster positive relationships with clients, communicating effectively and addressing their concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experienced Site Manager or senior Leading Hand.
  • Background in carpentry or strong technical building skills.
  • Experience in high-end residential renovations is highly desirable.
  • Insurance building experience is a bonus, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and scopes of work confidently.
  • Highly organized with excellent scheduling skills.
  • Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
