Residential Project Manager Job Description

This role requires a skilled project manager to oversee the construction of allocated residential projects from start to completion. Effective coordination of all on-site activities is crucial to ensure timely progress and high-quality delivery.

  • Develop and implement project plans to meet client expectations and specified budgets
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure updates are timely and documented
  • Oversee quality construction delivery in line with contract terms and legislative requirements
  • Ensure site readiness, safety, and cleanliness at all stages of construction
  • Build strong relationships with trades, suppliers, and internal teams providing support and feedback
  • Monitor and report site incidents, delays, and complete safety audits
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management
  • 5 years' experience within the Residential Project Home Industry
  • Strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers
  • Considerable knowledge of basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to building residential homes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
