About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in communication and engagement within the construction industry or those with a few years of experience. As a Construction Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing strategies, events, and collateral to inform and engage residents, traders, schools, community members, and internal stakeholders about construction works taking place.

You will collaborate with the traffic and construction teams to understand and mitigate impacts and disruptions. A proactive approach to working with and adapting to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in communications, public relations, community development, environment, urban planning, geography, social science, or a related field;
  • Experience working on infrastructure or urban development projects;
  • Strong ability to establish common ground and build relationships;
  • Self-motivation to manage your own workload on a day-to-day basis;
  • Ability to understand how impacts on our stakeholders can influence risk to our reputation and take action to mitigate this risk;
