About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by helping individuals with disabilities find sustainable employment.

As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will play a vital role in empowering people to achieve their goals and aspirations through effective job placement and support services.

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who can build strong relationships with job seekers, employers, and community organisations to maximise job opportunities and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Help job seekers identify their skills, abilities, and secure employment
  • Deliver ongoing outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services
  • Create and implement a joint job plan with the job seeker to support a clear pathway to employment
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Able to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
