Job Overview

Capstone is partnering with a prominent property owner to deliver operational excellence across a premium-grade industrial portfolio.

The successful candidate will oversee all operational and engineering matters within the portfolio, driving capital works projects and managing external facilities management service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Procuring and managing capital expenditure and operational expenditure budgets.
  • Asset Operations & Technical Support:
    • Facilities Management: Oversight of external FM service providers.
    • Defects Management: Identifying and resolving defects in the portfolio.
    • Capital Works: Managing capital works projects to enhance the value of the portfolio.
    • Tenant Fit-Out: Coordinating fit-out works for new tenants.
    • De-fit & Makegoods: Ensuring smooth de-fitting and make-good processes.
  • Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Assisting with implementing sector policies, procedures, and associated management plans.
  • Sustainability: Driving sustainability initiatives across development and stabilised assets.
  • Acquisitions/Divestments: Reviewing and analysing technical due diligence reports and capital works assumptions.
Requirements
  • Facilities management qualification and/or experience.
  • Project management qualification and/or experience.
  • Relevant engineering or trade qualification advantageous.
  • 6+ years' experience in relevant technical roles - industrial exposure preferred (retail experience also highly regarded).
  • Working knowledge of all relevant Acts.
  • Contract administration experience.
  • Budget setting and forecasting. Negotiation, presentation, and business writing skills.
