Senior Finance Business Partner Opportunity

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

BDO Australia is seeking a highly skilled and commercially savvy Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team on an 18-month contract with the possibility for extension. This role offers the opportunity to work in a large professional services organisation, driving financial performance, building relationships across the business, and enhancing our reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements and provide robust financial support and guidance.
  • Analyse management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance across cross centres.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process, including preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for further education in line with the company's strategic objectives and deliver training sessions where required.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CA or CPA equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Partnering, management accounting or financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience within professional services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
