Senior Finance Business Partner Role Overview

A leading service provider, Aequalis Consulting (Finance & Accounting), is seeking an accomplished Senior Finance Business Partner to drive strategic decision-making across various business lines.

This pivotal role will be integral in enhancing financial transparency and efficiency by partnering with business leaders to provide insightful financial information that drives business decisions and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with business line leaders to deliver financial insights that inform business decisions and performance improvements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, analysing variations, and providing forecasts and comprehensive analyses.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Implement and oversee effective financial controls and governance processes.
  • Provide training and support to non-financial managers regarding budget management and financial understanding.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) is required.
  • Several years of experience in management accounting within a complex, multifaceted organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building strong working relationships across various departments.
