Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Excellence Manager to spearhead our Source to Pay (S2P) process across multiple functional areas, geographies, and business units. This newly created role reports directly to the Head of Procurement and plays a crucial part in optimising our procurement processes and ensuring best-in-class procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a best-in-class end-to-end S2P strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior managers to embed the S2P strategy throughout the business, monitoring progress and identifying risks.
  • Lead and develop a direct report.
  • Conduct a thorough review of existing contracts, suppliers, and procurement policies to establish a robust and sustainable procurement framework.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand pain points and embed the new procurement process across the business.
  • Strategically source key categories to drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and supply security.
  • Build strong relationships with local and new suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and identify alternate sources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
  • Align procurement strategy with the wider business strategy and initiatives.
  • Identify and proactively manage procurement risks, including developing risk mitigation plans.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading S2P processes in large enterprises.
  • Essential skills include expertise in Ariba, Coupa, and Zycus.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including influencing ELT-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in procurement of software/ICT categories.
  • Excellent analysis skills.
  • Ideal experience gained in consulting environments.
  • Tertiary qualification or MBA.
