Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to join our Energy Operations Procurement team. This role will play a pivotal part in leading procurement activities across our Energy Operations business, working closely with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in planning activities to identify commercial opportunities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop procurement and contracting strategies
  • Managing sourcing activities, including pre-qualifications, EOIs, and RFTs
  • Providing management reports on procurement activity status
  • Delivering procurement initiatives that achieve quantitative and qualitative benefits
  • Ensuring operational compliance with group procurement policy and processes

Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a lead or senior procurement professional
  • Background in the energy, construction, oil and gas industry, or heavy industrial sector (Engineering)
  • Familiarity with various contracting models
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Proven experience with systems like SAP Ariba and S4Hanna
