About the Role

Cranbrook Care is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to support the needs of our organization and its residences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and providing support with executive reporting requirements, reconciling and lodging business activity statements, and maintaining the General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliation.

Additionally, the Accountant will manage the functions of AP/AR and payroll for their allocated residence, liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related matters, and support other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the CFO and Financial Controller.

This is a hands-on role that demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand, with a strong focus on building relationships with senior management across the organization.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Proficient in AP/AR functions
  • Solid understanding of ledger reconciliation principles
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll functions
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent computer skills in Word and Outlook
  • Experience in aged care or healthcare is favored, but not essential
  • Previous experience with EPICOR accounting software is an advantage
  • Previous experience with Epayroll and Humanforce is an advantage

Candidates must have a strong service mentality, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop key relationships at all levels within the organization.
