Compensation Data Specialist

The Global Mobility team supports organisations sending employees on assignment globally, offering services such as immigration, tax compliance & advisory, and assignment administration. Our compensation data process includes managing monthly data collection, processing, and reporting for global client engagements.

We collaborate with clients and EY offices worldwide to deliver integrated reporting for tax, payroll, compensation, and social security compliance. The role involves working closely with our offshore support team in India to delegate and review workflow.

This is a hybrid position based in Sydney or Melbourne, potentially allowing for flexible work arrangements with reduced hours. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end compensation data processes, collaborating across borders, leveraging data analytics and automation, driving client engagement and project delivery, and supporting regional growth and team development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly data collection, processing, and reporting for global client engagements.
  • Collaborate with clients and EY offices worldwide to deliver integrated reporting for tax, payroll, compensation, and social security compliance.
  • Analyse multi-source compensation data, build dashboards, and implement automation tools to streamline high-volume data workflows.
  • Participate in strategic client meetings, manage daily communications, and contribute to onboarding and implementation for new clients.
  • Help expand services across APAC, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with the regional EY network to build capability.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need 2–3 years' experience in global mobility, employment tax, or related fields, ideally within professional services, relocation providers, or internal HR/tax/finance teams. You should have strong analytical and data handling skills, including experience with Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and interpreting data from multiple sources.
