Job Title: Senior Manager – Employee and Industrial Relations

Job Description:

We are seeking a senior manager to oversee and manage industrial and employee relations matters. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of workplace legislation, best-practice policy development, and experience in managing competing priorities.

  • Oversee industrial relations activities, including enterprise agreement negotiations and management of industrial action.
  • Partner with operational leaders and technical specialists to provide guidance and support on strategic projects.
  • Lead the management and resolution of industrial disputes and related litigation, offering strategic advice throughout the process.

The successful candidate will have a degree or qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, Employment Law, or a related field, and at least 10 years' experience in complex, unionized workplaces. Excellent communication, influencing, and data analysis skills are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act 2009 and related employment legislation.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in complex, unionized workplaces.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver clear, practical ER/IR advice.
  • Experience managing enterprise agreements, industrial action, and workplace change.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and data analysis skills.
