Industrial Relations Specialist Opportunity

The Industrial Relations Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping excellence in industrial relations, contributing to the success of our business.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for delivering relevant, accurate, and timely industrial and employee relations guidance, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Support business activities and projects, ensuring adherence to applicable industrial instruments, policies, procedures, and statutory provisions for effective issue resolution.
  • Contribute to the continual development and implementation of our industrial strategy, amendments to industrial instruments, agreements, and training.
  • Assist with tribunal advocacy and briefing of external counsel for representing the organisation, facilitating issue resolution.
  • Represent the organisation in negotiations and consultations with entities such as unions, and participate in appearances before various tribunals.
  • Coordinate and conduct investigations in accordance with Company policy, ensuring fair, transparent, consistent, and accountable handling of professional conduct and performance matters.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Legal, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar or related role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of industrial relations and employment law.
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
