Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced facilities professional to join our team at Colliers. As a key member of our Real Estate Management division, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and driving initiatives to improve environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilities Management: Manage the presentation and day-to-day operations of allocated properties, including security, maintenance, and safety.
- Compliance and Engineering Standards: Ensure building compliance and drive initiatives on engineering standards across the business.
- Team Development: Develop and enhance the team's portfolio of services.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors, and colleagues.
- Financial Management: Review the monthly operating expenditure against budget and work with Property Managers to produce monthly client reports as required.
- Facilities Management Software: Manage data within the facilities management software and ensure all planned preventative maintenance is executed in accordance with schedules.
- Asset Compliance: Ensure each asset remains compliant with the required standards and monthly reporting on the operation of each asset.
Requirements
- Experience: Facilities, Engineering, or Building Management role in a commercial environment.
- Skills: Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize. Experience using computer-based building maintenance and management systems. Ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication.
- Qualifications: Strong understanding of building services and systems, with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
