Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

Programmed is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of operations and maintenance services across various sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring subcontractor performance to ensure safe, timely delivery of works that meet our client's quality standards.

  • Deliver professional services that ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide customers and service teams with updates on work progress and start dates.
  • Manage projects from planning through to completion.
  • Monitor work status and track project expenditures against budgets.
  • Achieve safe, successful, and profitable work outcomes.
  • Evaluate OH&S resources and requirements before starting work.
  • Clearly communicate work plans, requirements, and timelines to staff.
  • Oversee prompt resolution of site issues while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Results oriented individual with a strong work and service ethic
  • Problem solving skills with high level attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Player - collaborative in approach and working for the overall purpose of the team
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred

Essential Requirements:

  • A Supervisor/Building or Trade/Apprenticeship Certificate or 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Current valid NSW Driver's Licence
  • Trade qualification(s) desirable and/or FM experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction- desirable.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
