Job Description:

The Commission is seeking a Senior Audit Officer to fill this key role. The Senior Audit Officer will be responsible for the review and analysis of provided documentation/evidence and preparation for audit plans under the direction of the Assistant Director - Audit.

They will support audit teams with planning, administration and quality assurance activities associated with scheduled audits of Category 6 (residential) and Category 4 and 5 (home care) aged care providers.

  • Conduct review and analysis of provider request for information documentation and prepare concise summaries for the Assistant Director Audit to review.
  • Prepare agendas, targeted questions for interviews with provider management, attend meetings and document meeting minutes.
  • Prepare and update audit plans.
  • Work collaboratively with field-based team members to understand and respond to emerging requirements for information and provide guidance to team members conducting care delivery location audits.
