Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to oversee the procurement process for Service Delivery Partners, ensuring their compliance with contractual requirements, policies, and regulations.

This role involves developing and implementing strategies to evaluate SDP performance and adherence to contractual obligations, as well as refining contract audit methodologies to effectively assess SDP performance and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistency and rigor in audit processes, methodologies, and reporting formats, and will work closely with internal stakeholders and external specialists to optimise processes and system interactions to improve performance against business-driven targets.

In addition, this role requires a strong understanding of contract management principles, regulations, and industry standards, as well as experience in procurement, compliance, and audit management, preferably in a government contracting environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the procurement process for SDPs ensuring their compliance with contractual requirements, policies, and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to evaluate SDP performance and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Develop and refine contract audit methodologies to effectively assess SDP performance and compliance.
  • Ensure consistency and rigor in audit processes, methodologies, and reporting formats.
  • Be responsible for assurance-related processes, systems and compliance requirements for the contract. Work with internal stakeholders and external specialists to optimise processes and system interactions to improve performance against business-driven targets.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, or auditing.
  • Certification in auditing (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA).
  • Extensive management level experience within the facilities industry.
  • Proven experience in procurement, compliance, and audit management, preferably in a government contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles, regulations, and industry standards.
