We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as Assistant Director at Goodstart Mount Isa. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.


About the Role


As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in leading the centre team to provide high-quality early learning and care. You will also mentor and build capabilities within the team, be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence, and use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

About Goodstart Early Learning


Goodstart Early Learning is Australia's largest early learning provider. We offer a funded and approved kindergarten program, supporting children's development in the year before school using the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. We cater to children from nursery to Kindergarten and are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Diploma OR Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
