About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Professional to join our team as an Assistant Director at Goodstart Early Learning Mount Isa. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SUPPORT THE CENTRE DIRECTOR IN LEADERSHIP OF THE TEAM
  • MENTOR AND BUILD CAPABILITIES WITHIN THE CENTRE TEAM
  • BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL MANAGEMENT OF THE CENTRE IN THE CENTRE DIRECTOR'S ABSENCE
  • IMPLEMENT THE GOODSTART PRACTICE GUIDE

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • DIPLOMA OR BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT
  • CURRENT QLD WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK AND FIRST AID QUALIFICATION
