Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Conference & Events Sales Manager to drive the success of our Conference & Events (C&E) sales team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement targeted sales initiatives to drive business across key periods, ensuring alignment with market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing C&E Sales Team to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to secure ongoing business and drive revenue growth.
  • Revenue Maximisation: Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through effective management of sales and events.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business or Hospitality with sales experience, or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the C&E sales department.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various IT software systems: Microsoft Office, PMS (Property Management Systems), and CMS.

  • Competitive Salary: A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
