Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Expert to join our team at the Department Of Education, Western Australia. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting schools to effectively manage their financial systems and processes.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position commencing with a competitive salary package estimated to be around $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In this role, you will provide expert advice on Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS), assist with data analysis and issue resolution, and ensure compliance with financial legislation. You will also develop and implement financial training programs and contribute to reports and briefing papers.

The successful applicant will have considerable knowledge and understanding of the financial legislative framework, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. They will also possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
