Job Title: Disability Services Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services in the disability sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering safe, effective, and efficient services that support individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals in delivering person-centered services
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, staff, and community partners
  • Monitor and manage service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguarding Framework

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Disability, Community Services or Social Services or equivalent skills/experience
  • Minimum three years' experience in operations leadership in complex care within NDIS-era disability sector
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the disability sector, with strong command of NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguarding Framework
  • Proven ability to build workforce capacity and practice capabilities, and manage operations effectively through accountability frameworks
  • Strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex people-oriented environments
  • Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills, with ability to work collaboratively with participants, families, staff, and sector stakeholders
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Sound financial analysis and budget management skills
  • High capacity for multi-tasking
