This position involves working with customers who require support with daily living tasks, including domestic and personal care assistance. As a disability support worker, you will be required to develop strong relationships with customers and provide support that promotes their independence and well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to think critically and solve problems independently.
Key Requirements:- Ability to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public holidays with significant availability
- Resilience and confidence in working independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn software programs
