The company is expanding its core capability and market presence in infrastructure project development to establish a varied portfolio of energy and utilities assets within the National Electricity Market. Their primary objective is to deliver value through the development, execution, and operation of these assets.

About the Role

Davidson is partnering with Pacific Partnerships to recruit an Energy Markets Strategist to oversee the revenue, offtake, and trading stream within their Energy team. Reporting to the Group Manager – Energy, the ideal candidate will be experienced in the energy sector in a similar role.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, negotiating, and securing power purchase agreements and other offtake contracts.
  • Developing operational asset trading strategies and overseeing their implementation.
  • Managing submissions into government tenders.
  • Identifying target regions and supporting the development team in securing assets.
About You

We seek a high-performing individual with a track record in energy markets. Qualifications and attributes we look for include:

  • Relevant industry experience, with exposure to revenue management.
  • Experience in the Australian energy sector.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, commerce, finance, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust and foster strong relationships.
