Energy Procurement Strategist, AWS Asia Pacific

Ambitious and results-driven Energy Procurement Strategist sought to join the AWS Asia Pacific team. As an expert in energy supply chain management, you will be responsible for negotiating and executing power supply contracts across multiple regions.

About the Role:

  • Negotiate and execute power supply contracts with retailers and utilities
  • Identify key market trends, regulations, and market structures to evaluate potential savings opportunities
  • Analyze energy consumption patterns and identify areas for cost reduction
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with energy regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy/Engineering/Economics/Business/Math or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in APAC energy markets, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, or energy generation technologies
  • Proven track record of building relationships with industry stakeholders, including retailers, utilities, regulators, and consultants
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
