
Sales Leader for Independent Channels

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a National Account Executive, supporting the growth of our products within the Independents Channel.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in delivering sales results and building strong relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a degree-qualified background in a related field, with experience in FMCG or a similar industry. They will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to generate insights and develop clear action plans. Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of category trends and insights are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotional Management: Manage the preparation and submission of promotional activities to Metcash, ensuring timely execution and adherence to customer requirements.
- Account Management: Provide support to the National Account Manager and State Account Managers, working collaboratively to drive business outcomes.
- Analytical Insights: Work closely with Revenue Management to review and analyse promotional programs, identifying opportunities to drive cost savings and incremental revenue.
- Forecasting: Input and manage forecasts within the TPM tool, ensuring accurate volume forecasts and accruals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree-Qualified: A degree-qualified background in a related field, such as sales, marketing, or business administration.
- FMCG Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a related sales function within the FMCG or a similar industry.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to generate insights and develop clear action plans.
- Category Knowledge: Strong understanding of category trends and insights, with the ability to execute into customer plans.
