College Health Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate College Health Professional to provide quality health services to our students and staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in a paediatric or education setting to join our team and make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.

Job Description:

The College Health Professional will be responsible for providing primary health care to the entire College community, including triaging, treating, and referring students and staff as needed. They will also be responsible for managing individual medical action plans for students with chronic illnesses or health risks, and providing health-related counselling and crisis management on issues relating to child/adolescent health.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and experience in a paediatric or education setting.
  • Substantial clinical skills, including triaging, treatment, and referrals.
  • Ability to manage individual medical action plans for students with chronic illnesses or health risks.
  • Knowledge of and a deep commitment to child safety in an education setting.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
