We are seeking a Junior Medical Officer to join our healthcare community in delivering high quality patient care throughout the mental health continuum.

About The Role

The successful applicant will demonstrate commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team enhancing assessment and management of patients using a biopsychosociocultural framework.

They will have passion and commitment to learning, education and professional development in Psychiatry, demonstrated by ongoing development in expertise and progression towards Fellowship competencies of the RANZCP.

Across time, the position holder will provide high quality patient care throughout the mental health continuum in differing settings and with people across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric health services to patients and their families
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance assessment and management of patients under care
  • Develop and maintain skills and knowledge in Psychiatry through ongoing education and training

What You Will Need
  • Have been accepted into training by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with less than 12 months Full Time Equivalent Psychiatry training completed
  • Be able to independently live and work in Australia
