Role Overview

This position involves leading a multidisciplinary team in providing specialist psychiatric services to patients, promoting patient safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads the team to provide specialist psychiatric services.
  • Promotes patient safety and quality of care.
  • Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training and other health workers.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
  • Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
